I'm considering getting a tattoo of angel wings near my pelvis. They would be to represent Mark but I'm wondering if that would be to weird for the next guy (thinking way out in the future but hey these things are permanate.)

Whatever guy that you are with next will have to accept that Mark is part of your past. If a new guy isn't cool with that then he shouldn't be seeing your pelvis.

I think that it is an awesome idea.

I completely agree. I think it's a beautiful memorial. And like she said, if a guy in the future has a problem with it, he isn't the right guy for you.

I went through something similar. (Obviously on a much lesser scale) I wanted to get angle wings on my lower back that said forever young under them. It was in memory of a boyfriend that died. My mom was going to let me (I was 15) But I soon met Mike and he threw a fit. (It was/still is the only thing we have ever had a huge argument over) I figured I would wait and if we broke up, I would get it then. We're married now, so I probably won't be getting the tattoo. But, if I hadn't told him who it was for, he never would have thought anything of it.

Again, my situation is on a much smaller scale. And I don't think anyone could stop me if I wanted to do something similar in Mike's honor.

I say, go for it! If the next guy doesn't like it, oh well.

I agree with the other girls. It shouldn't matter what future men think, they will just have to accept it.

What a wonderful idea. The guy you are supposed to be with in the future will not have a problem with that at all. I believe that he will want to know a little about Mark as Mark is what helped make "you" you...if that makes sense. He will be secure enough in the relationship to not think of it as strange or feel threatened.
