You know I posted on here a while back & I cannot find my post so here I go again.Well never thought I would be here saying this. My problem is this I can get an erection but am having a tough time keeping it. Healthy male in my 40s with no previous problems. But I am some what desperate to find an alternative treatment for my problem. Suggestions welcomed.

what do you mean by alternative?

I think your best bet would be to see a doctor about it. It could be the early signs of prostate troubles or Erectile Dysfunction.

Appreciated
Hey thanks but I already have seen a doctor. I was thinking about checking out some natural supplements like Viagra but without the side effects.

there have been a few posts on the male sexual health forum before about chemical and herbal suppliments for ed (such as l-arganine, borage oil etc and the exact doses to take). i personally dont know anything about it, but you could try searching for these posts, i dont think they could be any more than a couple of months back. or try using the search feature. some people have reported they work, others that they do not. it perhaps depends on the individual. the only thing me and my partner ever used was horny goat weed, but it didn't really do anything. we tried viagra and it did the job but as you say, it has annoying and unpleasant side effects. we had the most success with cialis - it did the same thing but for longer and with no side effects.

Considering Options
So how long did you take cialis & are you still? Is this a prescription?

it was my partner that used it. it was not prescribed. he had been to the doctors a few times before and they had concluded his erection dysfunction was not a physical problem, it was all to do with anxiety. the doctor prescribed him viagra which got us past our first time having sex! continued to buy generic viagra off the internet for a while afterwards until he slowly started to need it less and take it less. i discovered cialis on the internet and thought it sounded worth a try too so i ordered him half a dozen tablets. it is so much better than viagra. lasts way longer and has no side effects. but to be honest he never took it on any kind of regular basis. it's just there for him if he feels he needs it.

what's your story then, are you married? anything going on in your life right now that could be causing this you think? have you been to a doctor? has it been happening for a while now, and how is it affecting your partner?
