Anyone ever use YEAST-GARD Advanced Douche? It is supposed to be a healthy eqivalent to a basic vinegar douche. It is used to prevent infections and relieve minor discomfort. i'm tossed up since 90% of the time douching is kind of dangerous..

Also, are those PH balanced soaps any good or just a myth?

What does everyone recommend when you have that not so fresh feeling? I am very sensitive to irritation and it is annoying Sad

Use feminine washes every day and douche only after your period if you would like too. it varies with different people and how sensitive you are..good luck

as long as you wash in the shower every morning, you should be fine. Yes, PH balanced soaps are good- for your whole body, and they would probably be good to use on your labia too.

Here's what I do- I never douche or use any "feminine spray" or anything, because I have really sensitive skin and I figure my vagina cleans itself. So I wash in the shower with a really gentle soap, keeping it as external as I can, and if I ever need a "freshness" boost, I keep some unscented plain baby wipes in the bathroom.

I do not recommend douching at all.

thanks ladies. i wanted to get some opinions. some women swear by douching, others say it's dangerous. since like i said i am very sensitive it probably isn't the best option for me.

i think i will try the PH soap. i have never been one to use sprays, etc. b/c anything too perfumy cannot be good down there. i also on occassion use unscented baby wipes. they are great!

sounds good!

I have heard that douching once a month (after your period) using a safe douche is ok. But that's really for women who get recurring yeast infections or something related to their menstrual cycle, not for normal healthy vaginas.

I'm pretty sensitive too, and I love my vagina, so I'm very careful about what I put in it lol.

Yay for baby wipes!
