Q: Breast Augmentation

Hello all!

I've been thinking about breast implants for years! I'm literally flat chested and I have no 'meat' at all, haha.
Anyhoo, I wish I personally knew someone I could talk to about this procedure. I think that I'm SO embarrassed that if I were to pick a surgeon, I'd really aim to find a female surgeon...but that seems rare to find.

I had a few questions if anyone with this experience can answer for me.

1. Does anyone have a recommendation for a great breast implant surgeon in Southern California?

2. Since I'm flat chested, I'm scared that if I had boob implants, my boobs won't look natural and squash together in the middle. I know it's hard to understand what I mean...but...if you take a look at Tori Spelling's boobs...I don't want it to look like that. There's space in the middle. Is that likely for me?

3. What is a decent price for breast enlargement? (Just so I know that I'm not overspending.)

4. If I don't have health insurance, can I still get plastic surgery and pay with my credit card?
Thanks everyone! =)

Don't be embarrassed. And if i were you i would be most concerned about the surgeons work and how good they are instead of worrying about the sex. These people are professional by all means so there is no need to feel embarrassed at all. They have seen it all.
THere should be a website or pamphlet from your family doctor with a list of lisenced and credentialed surgeons - dont settle for anything less. You should also be able to see before and after pictures of their work. You doctor should allow you to ask any questions and even give you 4-5 consultations before finally having surgery to make sure you get the results you are hoping for.
Smaller breasts are definately harder to make look natural, but really there are so many advances and so many good surgeons that i think you can get a really good result. I've seen tori spellings breasts and i know what you mean *gag*
And here in Canada i think the average price range is $5,000-7,000, this all depends on the type of implants you choose, and the type of surgury (under the muscle or under the breast tissue, etc.)
Good luck and all i can say is do LOTS of research. Breast implants can be great but there are also a lot of implications (with mammo's, cancer screening etc which should be considered as well).
Take your time and find a good surgeon.

I'd be very careful about deciding on implants at all. Don't overlook other options either. I've never seen any implants that look natural myself, they look like beach balls with skin pulled over them no matter how squishy they are when squeezed! Also putting a balloon under your skin sounds risky and scary. Still, to each his own!
I was going to try the natural herbal pills Breast Actives, Breast Success, and ProCurves in the next few months. I hear these are the best ones out there so thought I'd give it a try.
Good luck on whatever you decide!

My suggestion is not to do implant, but use natural therapies. We in Kerala(india) use some oil which helps to do the same. Its not costly. if u hav plans to visit India(you could hav it at the cost of a surgery)You may search for it. Its Ayurveda therapies using massage and a special oil, done except during menstruation.

There are many health professionals who often recommend "natural" therapies.

If you don't like something on your body then change it, we have the technology. Since you're really flat chested then you might want to consider not going up so high, maybe to a small C, just to make them look more natural. There's also the question of, do you want silicon, saline, or the gummybear implants? Silicon is usually what you see in pornstars, they're the ones that look like beach balls. Saline is more natural looking and there are many versions of the saline, just google before and after pictures of breast implants and they'll usually reveal all the information of the patient so you can see what looks more natural. While the gummybear implants are the most natural looking, they are also the most expensive.
Have a consultation with a specialist, bring in a picture to show what you want your breasts to look like afterward. I honestly don't think health insurance covers cosmetic surgery since it isn't a medical need.
But go for the implants, I've wanted them since I was 13, just get them because YOU want them, not for anyone else.
