I injured my knee about 3 months ago, I was riding a motoX bike and fell on my side, my knee got crushed under the bike and landed weirdly.

The physio and my friends told me the knee was fine, although I thought it felt weird, so I carried on training / wrestling / boxing / grappling with it, but it just didnt feel right and was v sore went bent, so I went to get an MRI and the knee specialist said its a torn PCL and it needs 4 more weeks of rest, then a re-evaluation, and possibly surgery and I uh.. needless to say mustn't be doing ANYTHING to strain it.

Here are some shots of the MRI's, I have lots more pics from other angles if more info is needed.

I'm so pissed this has happened, I've been doing mixed martial arts for 2 years now and had 2 pro fights (2-0) and I really felt like I was solidly progressing and love training so much, and I've just come off another ankle injury. Now I haven't been able to train properly for 5 months Mad

If anyone here has medical or personal experience with knee's I'd love to hear your opinion / thoughts.

Thanks in advance!

PCL insufficiency/tear/surgery
Rufy,

I'm sorry to hear about your condition. I tore my Pcl and Mcl 4 months ago, and I still have problems with it. No surgery yet, just PT.

How is the rehab going for you? I'm interested in other people's techniques, and exercises. Are you considering surgery?

Thanks,
Pete.
