Lutera causing missed periods
Posted: 01-03-08 12:14pm

i have been taking lutera since august and had no problems with it, except for one. I have been very compliant about taking it everyday but i have not gotten my period in 2 months. I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative. Is it normal not to get your period on lutera or should I be worried?

I've only been on Lutera for one month, but I've been on another BC pill for almost 10 years with no problems. Now after one month on Lutera I have not had my period. I am only a few days late, but I have been like clockwork for 10 years, almost to the hour, so I am very concerned. I am going to take a home test today just to ease my mind, but knowing this happens to other people makes me feel better.

i've been on lutera for about a month and a half...last month i got my period in the middle of the active pills, and nothing during the inactive pills. almost two weeks into this month i missed a day, and now i'm bleeding, but it's not period-like. is any of this normal (the period during active pills, none during inactive, bleeding)? oh and i was bleeding a tiny bit before my missed pill...after it i bleed a lot more heavily. mehh!!
