Q: Kidney stress from diabetes

Ok so my mom found out yesterday that her kidneys are "stressing" because of diabetes.... Now persay that things get worse i have a history of kidney stones but thats it.... we share the same blood type and what not but with kidney stones would i be able to donate if she needed it....???? Please help... and what can she do to slow down the process of her kidney problems.....?? Please help shes all i have left.... Crying or Very sad

She should be seeing a specialist for that problem. My Dad also has kidney problems in relation to Type 1 Diabetes. If she is Type 2 she should start a healthy diet and excersize to reduce her risks and stabilize her blood sugars.

She talk about a plan of action with her doctor or doctors and make sure that they are all on the same page.
