I have suffered from sinus issues for many years now. Over the last 2 months I have been on three different antibiotics, currently on prednisone and tylenol with codeine as the pain in my sinuses and the lump that has developed between my 2 front teeth has become extremely painful. I have been to my doctor, my dentist & an ENT specialist. The dentist xray showed my right sinuses to have a "black hole" which is explained as either air, bacteria or a cyst in my sinuses. I, also, can barely breathe out of my nose. My CAT scan did show a deviated septum and a few other things, however, this painful lump on my gums will not go away and no one seems to have the answer as to what it is. The dentist seems to think that it is a pocket of drainage from my sinuses and fears that my teeth will be effected soon if it is not resolved. No medications seem to help and it is extremely painful. Also, if I push on the top of my mouth, behind my two front teeth it is very tender.
Any suggestions.
Thanks.
