Hey all. I went to wic today to applied, and im non-applicable cuz my moms makin over 40 a year. Sad but I saw a woman there, and they asked arent u due today, and here already to get a breast pump? And she replied, "no, babys here already, in intensive care." and started to sob, and I mean sob. So I had overheard and when I left I went to her and said "u look like you need a hug" and hugged her, asked her her name and told her I would keep her in my prayers. The name's tammy. I pray I have a healthy baby. I cant imagine!

Love mol

Your mom shouldnt matter its your income. I applied and made it. And my sister applied and made it too. You should retry it and let them know its for you and your pregnant and they ask for your income I think. Thats how it should be anyways. Im sorry about that other lady. Im sure her baby will be fine, hope was in the nicu for a week and shes healthy as can be right now, she even spilled soda on my today..

Well right, but im on their insurance, bein 16 and all, but they said when I get medicade that I can reapply and automatically be on wic....But not while I am completely dependent on my parents income, and insurance. Its gay. Lol but I can apply again after shes born and im on medicade and automatically I can be eligible so thats good.

No no dont let them fool u!! They told me I couldnt get on it either cuz my parents made too much (im 18..But I am still on my parents insurance so it doesnt matter if im 18 or 16, same thing) anyhow.. If u have a job and can prove your own income then u can get on it for sure. .Wether its full or part time, and bein on ur parents insurance. They told me at first and I called back and was like 'no.. Ive heard from alot of people I should be able to be on this because my parents are not going to be responsible. I am .. " and they ended up puttin me on it, their tryin to scam ya, u can be on it, trust me u qualify... . And I would reccomend getting ur baby on insurance (the free kind) I did mi-child michigan insurance so the baby is covered now.

Right- I definately dont have a job or n e thing. I have to apply for medicaid after shes born and shell be eligible. Im not applying for it all for myself too...Just her. My mom is keepin me as a dependent n everything since I dont work.. So the only reason alyvia is guna be on medicaid is because my moms insurance only covers a dependent(livy) of a dependent(me) for 30 days after birth.... But I qualify for wic right when I alyvia starts gettin medicaid. Lol thats a mouthful.
