lupron or enlarged uterus causing missed periods Posted: 01-02-08 10:31am
I had a laparoscopy in oct '07 FOund out i
had endo. my dr. qaurterized that and also
told me that i had an inlarged uterus,
which is unusal for someone who has not
had kids.
What i would like to know is can lupron
{the shot that i am getting} cause me to
miss periods when i am supposed to get the
shot during my period.
Or can it be that i am pregnant. I took a
test that i bought from the dollar store
and it came out neg.
But my stomach is a little bigger under my
belly button and kind of poking out a bit
under my ribs.??
any help or advise would be great

So far I haven't read anything about
endometriosis or lupron causing an
enlarged uterus. Didn't the doctor who
diagnosed you with endometriosis do a
gynecologic ultrasound? Endometriosis can
cause irregular periods though. As for
pregnancy test kits, not all kits give you
accurate results. You could have gotten a
false negative. So to be sure, take
another test, and maybe get a better
quality test kit from a pharmacy.
