Q: Unprotected Sex

I recently made a big mistake.. One that I will never make again, that was having unprotected sex. Through reading, even though I did not ejaculate inside her, nor ejaculate at all, there always is "pre-ejaculation". After having sex on the 29th, my partner and I were worried about her being pregnant. Her 1st day of her period was on the 10th, and ended around the 14th, I also do believe she is either on a 28 day cycle or a 30 day. We had sex on the 29th, If the calculators online are correct she would be ovulating on the 14-16 and she would be most fertile 12-20. Just to make sure, we bought Plan B and she took it. Were also both curious what else its supposed to do after the first day or two after she takes it. Her first day she was cramping, had headaches and felt like she wanted to vomit (she did not vomit). I would guess that this means plan B is working. So from this point on do we just wait? What are her risks of being pregnant? And we've never had sex with any other person, we both lost our virginity to each other. (1st time we used condom). Any information would be grately appreciated, some form of assurance would help, I can swear my black hair has turned grey and sadly.. its something this risky to make us think twice about unprotected sex. Thank you!

It's very very very unlikely that she is pregnant. So I'd say no she isn't. I'm glad you've decided to stop having unprotected sex. Maybe she could go on Birth Control AND you can use condoms?

yea, thats what were going to do. I know its no excuse.. End point, i let my little head think for my bigger head :[. Yea were going to go to planned parenthood and start her on pills, I dont know when we will have sex again, but one thing for sure is that, well. Its going to be protected, and not just used as something to do when were bored. I love her we've been together for 7 Months so, shes someone that I wanna see in my future and it hurt me so bad hearing her go through the plan b and still saying hi and saying that she loves me, shes a trooper and I love her.

No. I was on birth control the only time I had someone finish in me. And evem if I turned out to be pregnant I would have welcomed it although I wasn't trying.

Well I've had unprotected sex other times but used pullout. I know that diminishes the chance but I still don't consider that protected.

plan B is only effective if you take it 5 days after you have sex and if MOST effective if you use it in the first 72 hours after sex Very Happy

Definitions are getting looser and looser. Maybe we need a glossary.

I consider unprotected sex to mean sex without contraception/birth control.

I dont consider pull out being protected. And I only consider birth control protected if you take it right.

I dont consider pull out being protected. And I only consider birth control protected if you take it right.

Quoting myself haha. I actually think not wearing a condom is ALWAYS unprotected even if your on birth control because you still aren't protected against STDs.
