Ok I have a question. I currently have an HDHP plan with an HSA through my current employer. I am getting ready to start a second job that provides medical insurance. I know with the HSA I can't have regular medical insurance also, but my question is if an HDHP plan is offered with the second job would having two HDHP plan prevent me from funding the HSA?

Re:hdhp
Not sure if it would be to your advantage to have both. The individual maximums for contribution is already preset by the feds. I would pick the one that I would have to pay the least amount of the premium. Make sense?

Look At All Your Options
Very Interesting,

If you are considering on going from job to job. Have you ever considered an individual health insurance policy? The only reason I bring this up is because most of the time your rates can be lower and best of all you can take it from job to job. Another god thing is that once you have gone through underwriting you are done no mater what clames you make your coverage can never be terminated.

So if you are healthy I would consider the individual coverage. If you are not healthy it is best to evaluate both jobs which one is the one that your are going to build your carrier in and keep that plan.

Hope this helps.
