I've been having upper back pain the last few months. During the day if I flex or stretch a certain way then my upper back right in the middle begins to hurt alot. Sometimes I even feel the pain in my chest. The pain has gotten progressively worse. At first I only felt it right when I woke up and then started to be felt during the day until the past few days its been killing. It always hurts in the morning no matter what but during the day I usually have to move a certain way for it too hurt. Btw I am 15, almost 16.

Hello 15 going on 16,

WELCOME to this forum!!!

Sorry to read about your back pain. It is always frustrating trying to figure out what caused or is causing the back pain. Most of us have been there.

Okay, where do you go from here? It has now been seveal months and the pain isn't getting less, it is getting worse. Seems like the next step is to see a doctor, and in my view a doctor who specializes in spine problems, such as a neurologist or spine surgeon. Do a little reserch and try to find the best doctor you can.

Do stay in touch and let us know how things are going for you.

Oh yes, one last thought - Does your mattress sag in the middle? And if I may ask, how old is your mattress?

Hope all goes well.
