Q: Stopping Yaz early ?

I am unexpectedly seeing my deployed husband Jan 17-21. My last active Yaz pill (24 active pills) is scheduled to be taken on Jan 8. Can/Should I not take 3 or so of the last active pills in hopes of being fertile when I see him? By skipping these, will I have withdrawal bleeding? Does withdrawal bleeding effect ovulation?

I don't know about being fertile but my dr told me that if I would like to stop at any time a week early or so then to do so to set off my period...I told her that I am just that lucky person that everytime I go on vacation no matter when it is I have my period so she advised to stop my pill about 2 weeks earlier for the 1 week and then go back on and it should bring my period on so that when I go away I don't have it.

You *could* be fertile, but it can take time for your fertility to return to normal.

It usually takes 2-3 weeks for fertility to return.
