that's that I think too, I mean even though we are in the 21st century which sex isnt that much of a shame as it was long time ago, but there is still a limit..

I myself am very proud! I am 17 and have worked really hard to support my baby who is due in the upcoming month. I don't think it is wrong to be proud of staying in school, working 2 jobs, being respective of my mom and my boyfriend, my elders and of everyone who has helped me and given me advice. While my daughter was not planned, that does not make her any less wanted or make me any less proud to have her as my daughter. While I do understand that you have been there as a teen mother, I am a little older and wiser than alot of teenagers who do have babies. I have not missed one prenatal visit, and have beaten more than half of all teen mom statistics because not only am I working hard to be a good mother, a good provider and a good nutureer but I am also working hard to break the mold of "typical teenage parents". Personally I think I have done a good job and I think there is always room for improvment! So while I personally think that I can be an excellent mother, I am always up for advice or suggestions and I always ask questions when I need help. That is my advice for young parents, if you don't know..Ask!

Welcome to the boards colena!

Good luck and best wishes

that's very possitive, I know that some of the teen moms are proud to be moms and proud of themselves, which is a good thing only for those who knows what they want and what they are doing. For those who are just so immature and big-headed, the whole attitude is just taking a bit too far, and that's why we want to suggest or give our opinions to those who are a bit toooooo proud to be having sex with lots of guys unprotected.

But u are a good example for them!!! Smile

That I do agree with. I was explaining to my friends little sister, who is 13, that having a baby at 13 wasn't good. She thought that is was so cool watching my tummy roll when cheyenne moved and how excited austin and I are. I was telling her that it is hard for a 17 y/o to find a job sometimes and at 13 in az it is illegal to have a child employed. I also explained that while it was cool to watch my belly move when cheyenne did, it is cool until 4:15 this morning when she decided to punch me in the ribs! Lol so just so all of you know cheyenne is grounded until she is 18! Lol shes not supposed to punch mommy in the ribs! Smile back to the point, I think that more schools should have the btio program along with the pregnancy suit. I think that would get some younger teens to understand that pregnancy is not all about the second trimester kicking and ultrasounds and roses. As all of you saw in my post earlier this week, you can freak out over stupid stuff! Ok well thats all I am gonna say! But you know i'll be back, I always am! Hehe
