Q: Hydrocortisone For Tight Foreskin?

Hi this is my first post here. I can only pull my foreskin back about halfway when my penis is erect. It's just too tight. It's not a frenulum problem, the skin is just too tight. There is no way I am going to my doctor about this (stupid I know). But I have done a bit of reading and I know what he is going to recommend. He'll tell me to go and get some 1% hydrocortisone cream and try that for a few weeks.

So, has anyone else tried this? Did it work? How long did it take? Did your doctor prescribe it or did you just try it yourself? Any side effects?

Also, can I get 1% hydrocortisone over the counter in the UK or do I need a prescription?

[edit] sorry forgot to mention. I know the first thing to try is stretching. I've been doing a lot of this for a long time but it's not helping.

How old are you? If you're young then this is normal. The foreskin is not fully retractable until mid-puberty, around 15-18 years old.

I believe Hydrocortisone is available OTC in most places.
