Q: bloating after eating = IBS ?

Everytime I drink carbonated drinks, I get very bloated. It's embarrassing and it forces me to wear big baggy sweatshirts all the time. Since I've realized that it was drinks like soda, I've stopped drinking them.

But then I realized, I got bloated from other foods too. I can't even think of what I can or cannot eat because it happens spontaneously. And it's been happening since I was about nine. I'm 16 now...Do the math.

And it happens every week at least three times. I've gotten so used to it though. But it's still annoying, especially if I'm with my friends.

Lately, I just don't eat at all. It hasn't happened in a week, but that means I'm not consuming proper nutrients and all that good stuff. I've been eating one meal a day for the past seven days...That's not healthy. But I don't know what else to do.

Do you think these are symptoms of IBS? Or another condition?

HELP. PLEASE.

Yeah, that's what it is. But I'm wondering why it happens after almost eating ANYTHING.

I also have other symptoms of IBS (periods of constipation then diareaha, etc.). And it's been happening since I was young.

IDK, I wanna second opinion before I talk to my mom about it and go the doctors.

Sometimes bread and pasta make me bloated. Do you eat lots of these kinds of foods?
