i've gaind 10-12 in the past month ... so it is possible. but I didn't gain enough weight in the beginning anyways, so this must be making up for it. Plus my mom told me the last trimester i'd gain the most .. I've already gained lets see...40 some pounds since may. that is WAY to much lol.

Ah don't sweat it. I gained 15 lbs in a month, 52 total. It came right off, I've lost 35 lbs these last 2 weeks.
Do you plan to breast feed or formula feed?

i am breastfeeding. it was just a total shock and my nurse is such a b*tch you should see the looks she gives me when i go in there. and then when i told her my weight she looked at me and said "o 10 pounds in a month. sucks for you" my boyfriend almost wh=ent off on her lol

Ouch. I got lectured for my weight gain too. One of the OB's I saw actually told me to go on a diet!
I wouldn't sweat the weight gain. You seriously loose 10-20 lbs just from the birth, and breastfeeding helps it slide right off. Just keep eating healthy and you're good.

eating healthy is so not fun lol i have been trying tho. my next visit tho they are going to check for preeclamsia (sp??) i hope i dont have that because my doctor was saying that its a pretty serious complication during pregnancy =/ but i guess we'll see. i have these horrible stomach pains sometimes and i went to the er a few days before x mas and the nurse said there early contracions and that drinking kore water should help. but wouldnt they usually give you something to stop the contractins?? i dont know sometimes i really think doctors can be full of it. lol

Preeclampsia is basically high blood pressure, I think... at this app. and every one after it, they'll check your bp and your urine. And they'll tell you what to look for to go to the hospital. That's pretty much it.
And sometimes getting hydrated is enough to stop contractions. If they had kept up after you drank some water, they probably would have given you meds.

A lot of people have braxton hicks during most of their pregnancy... i'm guessing that's just what you're having.

Braxton Hicks through most of their pregnancy? Are you sure?
I thought maybe you wouldn't feel them until after at least halfway through your pregnancy, even if they started a lot earlier. I don't know. I just worry about you two, and the stories about your doctors don't give me much confidence.
