I am a guitarist, and will training I dropped a weight on the tip of my finger one week ago. I still feel pain when I play or apply pressure to the tip of my finger. How long should it take to recover?

I would give an injury like that a few weeks ... but if you still feel pain after a couple of weeks, I might see a neurologist on kinethesiologist to be sure that the muscles and nerves of the finger are OK.
