I believe excema is a rather contagious infection. I had it once when I was 12 on my nose... but it was treated with an antibiotic cream. No need to worry... just ask the doctor or pharmacist what you need to treat it. It should go away within a week or two.

Maybe now is the time to go and have the skin diagnosed. Dermatologist rely on sight-seen diagnoses and are experts. Is something prohibiting you from a visit?
