I've had voices about 6 years now and I've recently developed a system for dealing with this problem, It's NOT complete, but it is functional and I use it myself with success, can be used against the majority of things and I am always thinking of ways to improve it, everytime they find a way around it I restructure it to accomadate the new stress. This is NOT however going to be for everyone, it's for people who feel verry mentally stable themselves but are disturbed by madening commentary voices that may question your thoughts which can be verry frustrating.
I am interested to what people who read it and try it think of it and if they find it usefull in any way or even have any suggestions about how it could be improved.

I don't have schizophrenia but I did read your article and found it very interesting. Your analogy to martial arts is a good one. It also reminds me of some of the strategies teachers advise students to adopt when the bullies are after them. I suppose voices are like bullies.

Thanks for posting this.
