I am excited, John and I just bought a new bed and it is supposed to be delivered today, along with a coffee table that we got as well. We've been sleeping on a futon mattress for a couple of years, it will be so nice to be on a soft mattress on a nice frame.
John's roommate moved out so we are moving our bedroom to the bigger room and then I will be getting my own massage room!
We have been spending the last week or so just cleaning the crap out of here, getting rid of stuff and re organizing. We also got a new couch and reclining chair.....it's really coming together and feeling like a home. I can't wait to be able to move my stuff completely out of my Mom's and also be able to have my own massage room. I am just so excited.

Yay! I am trying for a new pair of couches for now. And a bed frame. We are afraid it will break and have been banning the cats from the bedroom because we do not want to smoosh them Laughing

Yeah smooshed cats wouldn't be a very good thing. We actually found all of our new furniture from Wicks. We got the love seat and chair a couple of weeks ago, then saw the bed frame we had been picturing there 2 days ago. Once we get everything set up, I will post some pics of the rooms, I am especially excited to show you all my massage room once its done.

We only have a twin bed. It's very small for us, but we can't really afford a bigger one right now. If we go bigger we might as well go for the king size. We may get one with our income tax money, but I'm so indecisive when it comes to mattresses.

Thanks, I really like it too...can't wait to sleep on it tonight. We have been sleeping on a futon mattress on no frame at all, so this is a big change. John wanted the drawers in the frame, plus a headboard and it was really hard to find anywhere that carried something this nice, like what we wanted, we got lucky. The frame is also like a platform style with the slats that hold up the mattress, no box spring required so that made it cheaper for us when looking for just a mattress.

Yeah the bed we were on before John has had for a while before we met, it was a full size futon and I slept on a twin size at my Mom's. John is 6'3" so hes really excited about not having his feet hang off the end anymore. It's a queen size and John was able to get a good deal with the sales person. I am surprised he had enough money to get all this new stuff for our place...I didn't help out at all and I am not working so this feels really special to me.

Hope you can get a new bed with your tax return!!

i hope this is a typo and you meant a fullsize! a twin bed is the small 1 person bed. i can't imagine 2 adults sleeping on one of those!

Yeah the coffee table is really cool, I like to sit at the dinner table and eat and he likes to sit and eat on the couch w/ the t.v on and this way its kind of like a good, happy medium because it pulls up and out and I can sit at it like an actual table, no food on my lap or anything, lol.

Wow! Nice furniture. I'm jealous of your bed. We're in a full size as well and it sucks. When we move out and get a bigger place we'll be able to get a big bed!

I have slept on a twin bed my whole life then went from that to sharing a full size with John who is tall and likes to sprawl out, this bed should give us a bit more room.
