I'm so sick. I'm hot, my palms are itchy
and clammy, I feel nauseated. I'm so sick
of calling out of work, and in the past
two months I have at least four times. I'm
scheduled to close tonight, and I'm scared
to call out again. I feel useless, and I
think I should just put in my two week
notice :[
What should I do? Any advice will help.
Thanks girls.

i think that you feel that crappy you
should call in. Cuz you do work around a
lot of people and you don't wanna chance
giving it to them, or one of them making
yours worse. Your job should be
understandable..and if they aren't you
should get a new one! lol.. i know its a
lot easier said than done..
i have the stupid stomach flu...and i'm
scheduled til close tonight and
tomorrow... and i think im calling in
today...cuz i feel yucky =(

take a nice warm bath, put a cold rag on
ur head, drink LOTS of water, and SLEEP. I
cant stress sleep enough.. sleep sleep
sleep. I had the flu when i was prego with
Caitlyn.. and i slept it off and I'm SO
GLAD i did.
And if you don't 100% have to have a job,
I'd give notice.
I LUFF you and i hope you feel better.

I would but I don't have a bathtub. I have
one of those showers where you can
basically put soap on the walls and spin
around. Haha.
I just don't know what to say to them.

I hate this. I know I have to call in but
whenever I do, they act SO mad. A couple
of times they were like "we really need
you" and I explained that I'm really sick
and I'm so sorry but I just couldn't do
it, and they were like okay bye and hung
up. Snobs :[

I completely understand where you're
coming from. I hate to call in sick. I
haven't done it often, but when I have
I've always gotten the same reaction as
you've gotten. It doesn't matter where it
was, they have all reacted the same.

I called. Greg was the service manager at
the time thank GOD, because if it were Ann
or Tom, I would have gotten "ok bye".
I'm going to try to just rest and not go
anywhere tonight.

I'm glad you were able to speak to someone
with some compassion. Where do you work?

I was thinking about getting a second job
there for a while. I thought it would be
neat. (plus I'd love a discount) But, they
seem like a store that could get by on
fewer employees if needed. I think they
are just on power trips and want to
'pretend' they have power over someone
else.
