Q: Risk of Getting Pregnant?

Okay, I'm asking this because I want an honest answer - I don't want anything back telling me I'm being stupid - I just want an answer. . . .

I stopped taking BC a little over 2 months ago.
My boyfriend pulls out everytime he comes.

Yes, I'm aware this is not a fool-proof method - my question is - what are the odds of getting pregnant??

Thanks!

You are putting yourself at risk of pregnancy either way you want to look at it.

Even if he pulls out, it's pretty much just as well as if he had ejaculated and you are just as likely to become pregnant if you are ovulating or going to ovulate soon. The pull out method is having sex.

Everyone is different, so there is no actual percentage that I can tell you. It depends on sperm count, your fertility, ovulation times and things like that.

it definitely depends on a lot of things, but it definitely not a form of birth control. Most men have pre-ejaculate that contain sperm and it only takes one!

I have known many women on both sides of this fence. My mom's friend uses this method and hasn't gotten pregnant in 15 years (she has 4 kids, and that's how many they wanted), then my friend just got pregnant from it. So it depends on a lot of things, but if you want worst case scenario, of course you can get pregnant.

I'm not sure of the odds, but they are definitely up there.
