So it's Dan and my 2nd wedding anniversary and I was wondering if it was lame to only go out to eat and go to a hotel. Last year all we did was go out to eat but we had no money then and this year we have plenty.

I made reservations in Madison, Wi at this sweet hotel but I am afraid that Dan is going to think that I am boring.

I don't usually go clubbing but do you think that is approriate for an anniversary getaway? Besides, I have no idea how Madison's club scene is. I have several friends that live there though.

I guess I am mainly asking how I can spice up our trip. We aren't going to have Luke so I would like to do some things that we don't normally do.

I seriously need some suggestions.

Personally i think that sounds really nice! Hmm how exactly do you want your trip spiced up? If it's the way i tend to think of then an 'extra' suitcase might be a good idea....

my idea of a fun anniversary is going out to a nice restaurant for dinner. if we had extra money we'd probably go to a show in boston like the blue man group or something.

i don't think your plans sound lame at all! have a great time!

Happy anniversary first of all!! And second of all...I love your plans, they are NOT lame...just think of all the "excitement" you can have without a baby in the next room, or beside you, or in bed with you....trust me...i am sure you could give him a show that money can't buy!!! hehe!!! Sorry...I tend to get a little R rated....

Okay thanks guys. I think that lately I have been feeling dowdy. I think because of the baby and because I have no friends here in Illinois with babies. They are always so exciting and have so much going on that I feel like I need to keep up with them.

I talked to Dan and he thinks that it will be really fun so I shoudln't be worrying.

That does bring me to what I should get him....

Actually you are right on time Smile Our anniversary is New Year's Eve. I am just getting everything planned now because it's impossible to do anything spur of the moment that night.
