You are obviously a man. Because if you are not going to keep a child for whatever reason, you should not have to carry it for nine months and go through with the birthing process.
But once again, take your useless opinions somewhere else! Evil or

Easy to say coming from someone who will never have a pregnancy.
It's a fetus. Not a baby.

I am a woman & I am basically anti-abotion but I beleive strongly in pro choice, I have miscarried 4 times (inc my sons twin) & had an abortion at 13 weeks after discovering he was trisome 18 (such babies don't usually even live long enough for you to know you;'re pregnant - so the degree of damage is severe). I also have a daughter 15.

So I think I do know about & been in positions on both sides of the "debate" - first hand not just theoretically.

Unless you are faced with certain situations you really can never know what you will do (not if you're honest & don't go around with closed eyes).

Why should a person carry a child to term if it is the result of a rape, if doing so will cause the death of the mother or if she chooses for her sake, her family's sake & for the sake of the baby not to bring a vegetable into the world & what right have self-rightreous narrow-minded bigots to interfere.

For those sane people out there - imagine these fanatics reaction if we tried to force them to do something because it was what we believed to be right - then they'd spout a different tune.

You Are All Wrong

Abortion is wrong no matter what the circumstance. If you are pro-choice then you ought to hang your head in shame.

Gordon can you get pregnant? O.K, then you will never know how it is then. We are not wrong. We understand that their are circumstances that each woman faces and each situation is different. Don't judge, try putting yourself in someone else's shoes.

I generally can't put myself into other peoples shoes, as I take a size 15 and find that other peoples shoes dont usually fit.

Gordon couldn't put himself in anyone else's shoes as with his eyes & mind closed so tight he couldn't find them plus he still wouldn't understand any other view points for the same reasons -- basically he doesn't want to he's right in all his views oin everything & anyone who differs even slightly is wrong & should be punished. Homicide And Abortion
Posted: 06-22-04 15:46pm

Ok, so let me get this straight...Abortion is wrong because in effect, it is killing an innocent human being, or as we like to call it homicide. I see why abortion can be condidered homicide, but what I don't understand is, why do you think homicide is wrong, why is it wrong to kill another human being for the benefit of another? If you think that to do this is horribly wrong...Then open your eyes, quit pretending we are a 'good and godly' species and realize that the human race is nothing but a bunch of serial killers, we always have, and always will be. It is pathetically nieve to think that killing is so unthinkable when this country was founded on nothing but the absolute slaughter of millions of innocent native americans and forced african slaves for no other reason than the benefit of our fundamentalist christian desires. Remember your tax dollars support the slaughter of palestinians every day. Once again for no other reason than to keep our happy little american dream world a reality.
Sincerely
-some one who thinks before they speak, and doesn't need a bible to do it.

Gordon, I don't like abortion either but I do know that it is something that some people need. What if you were raped and have an ectopic pregnancy that will kill you if you don't abort? Should the woman die because some guy was horny? She did nothing wrong and she has to die? I don't think so, what if she had plans and was extremly smart and on the way to find the cure to cancer definitly? As in she was famous for nearly discovering the cure for cancer and continously looking for it? What if your son had cancer? Should she continue the pregnancy? The baby will prob die anyway but even if it wasn't that type of problem and the baby would live but she would die because she is too small to handle a pregnancy or whatever reason? I'm sorry but as opposed to abortion as I am the only way I would have one is maybe to save my life. I would have to go to counseling afterwards but that's the only reason. Like I said though that is the only reason so if I ever become pregnant I will carry it to term and give it up for adoption. No one can force me to have an abortion and the only way I would without it for my health is if they agree to kill me afterwards or let me die if something goes wrong.
