Q: Marijuana and bronchitis

I was wondering if it would be particularly detrimental to inhale marijuana smoke out of a water pipe whilst being diagnosed and taking medication for Bronchitis. I have a mild case of it and I feel practically 100% better.
My doctor said that I should be better after 10 days.

Edit: I also have a sinus infection, but it's clearing up. I'm taking a basic penicillin and small 4mg steroid tablets (methylprednisolone) if it matters. Smile

I found marijuana to impair the function of my immune system. I stopped smoking it almost 5 years ago and hardly ever get sick. In terms of your curent diagnosis, I do not hink that the smoke will seriously affect the conditions, but you will most certainyl recover quicker using immune system stimulators like Vitamin C, echinacea, non caffeinated teas, and good old fashioned rest.

Yes it would be detrimental. Bronchitis, which is the inflammation of the bronchioles due to smoke irritation, will be irriated even if you use a water pipe because now you are introducing microscopic water particles into your lungs. Hence, it would probably be worse. Avoid it

Do these types of filters work?
I am thinking about buying these cigarette filters and maybe one of these cigarette water filter pipes to try. Has anyone ever tried one of these? There are two or three different types of cigarette filters and I am not sure if they are right for me. I would like to learn a little about these before I place an order. I heard that these are the next best thing besides quiting smoking and I ain't quiting.

I have broncitis and it has only gotten worse with weed. I use a volcano vaporizer for my buds such as black diamond hindu kush and cotton candy sour deisel, so your claim that this condition will be better with this combination is baseless. STOP smoking till it clears up for good...if you can't, go to rehab because if you can't stop while sick then you never will idiots

marijuana and bronchitis
i was researching to see if marijuana can be helpful in cases of bronchitis. What i found was that emphysema can be caused by heavy smoking, and marijuana was worse than cigarettes, insofar as you inhaling all the smoke your lungs can take in and hold it in, repeatedly, damaging tissue in your lungs making it difficult to breath, im still researching, and havent found that marijuana has been proven to help bronchitis, i hope so, that way i can get my smoke on, and feel comfortable knowing its just for my health instead of making it a ritual or habit, i would just take it easy on the stuff, and hope my breathing improves, wouldnt it be better to get more oxygen into our bodies by improving our breathing, I always feel like im suffocating.
