Cant Jason be home already!, Im soooo ready to do christmas im excited for the kids to open there gift and jasonto open his and everything, i listen to songs that i remember jason singing in the truck or walking around the hospital the day joseph was born, i remember him humming if i only had a brain that day and this guy thought he was mental and made a beeline for the elevator, all these songs remind me of him singing and smiling. I want hm here to see how much josephs changed and jordynne, in the little time hes been gone theyve grown so much, joseph says i love you and jordynne was trying to do the stairs on her own and joseph goes come on sissy it was adorable, he says kitty kitty, he knows who sponge bob is and points it out all the time. He is starting potty training too, he kinda took to it on his own. he likes to help clean alll th etime to, him and jordynne like to push eachother lol, its cute. i think jordynne might freak out when she sees jason for the first ime since she was only 7 mths old when he left. Im just ready for it to be back to normal, spending the day with the kids and making dinner and him coming home from work. having someone to lay bside in bed other then the cat, wich jason hasnt met our cat either he is the best cat ever, hes not even declawed and hes a gentle loving cat he follows me everywher he is laying beside me asleep on my bed right now. Right now he is back wher he was before but hes not sure when they are puttin him on a plane to landstuhl, he was playing in apool tournament with his friends tryin to win a sweater and gift card for me but he lost and his back was really sore after playing that but that was sweet that he did that, he did get mad at me over christmas but he apologized i guess he felt bad that he made me cry, but myfriend tanja was in tears on christmas to but our husbands are stressed out they arent here with us and htey arent here to watch the kids grow , her husband missed ther daughters birth its not something u can do again. So yeah they make us mad they make us cry but they are over there missing out on life , important hthings in life, things like holidays can be redone but your childs first smile, first steps cant be redone and that sucks. Its just something we being military wives gotta deal with, i got this awesome plaque that has the nicest little story about military wives i might try and find it again andpost it on here, im sorry for rambling im just tired of waiting and waitng for him to come home Sad

the Making of Amilitary Wife ( I Found It :) )
Posted: 12-26-07 17:30pm

The good Lord was creating a model for military wives and was into his sixth day of overtime when an angel appeared. She said, "Lord, you seem to be having a lot of trouble with this one. What's wrong with the standard model?"

The Lord replied, "Have you seen the spec on this order?" She has to be completely independent, posses the qualities of both father and mother, be a perfect hostess to four or forty with an hour's notice, run on black coffee, handle every emergency imaginable without a manual, be able to carry on cheerfully, even if she is pregnant and has the flu. She must be willing to move to a new location ten times in seventeen years. And oh, yes, she must have six pairs of hands."

The angel shook her head, "Six pairs of hands? no way."

The Lord continued, "Don't worry, we will make other military wives to help her. And we will give her an unusually strong heart so it can swell with pride in her husband's achievements, sustain the pain of separations, beat soundly when it is overworked and tired, and be large enough to say "I understand" when she doesn't, and say "I love you" regardless.

"Lord," said the angel, touching his arm gently, "Go to bed and get some rest. You can finish tomorrow."

"I can't stop now," the Lord said, "I am so close to creating something unique. Already this model heals herself when she is sick, can put up six unexpected guests for the weekend, wave goodbye to her husband from a pier, a runway, or a depot, and understand why it's important that he leave."

The angel circled the model of the military wife, looked at it closely and sighed. "It looks fine, but it's so soft."

"She might look soft," replied the Lord, "but she has the strength of a lion. You would not believe what she can endure."

Finally, the angel bent over and ran her fingers across the cheek of the Lord's creation. "There's a leak," She announced. "Something is wrong with the construction. I am not surprised that it has cracked. You are trying to put too much into this model."

The Lord appeared offended at the angel's lack of confidence. "What you see is not a leak," he said. "It's a tear."

"A tear? What is it there for?" asked the angel.

The Lord replied, "It's for joy, sadness, pain, disappointment, loneliness, pride, and dedication to all the values that she and her husband hold dear."

"You are a genius!" exclaimed the angel. The Lord looked puzzled and replied. "I didn't put it there."
