A friend of mine told me his g/f is going
to get her 'tubes tied" but without
surgery-that there is a permanent way of
doing this medicinally. That is all the
information I have.
Anyone ever heard of this?
Thanks!

YES.
There is a type of sterilization called
"Quinacrine sterilization". (QS)
Quinacrine, which is an antibiotic, is
placed into the uterus through a modified
IUD inserter.
Quinacrine causes scar tissue to build up
inside of the fallopian tubes.
QS is not as effective as normal
sterilzation, and questions remain on the
carcinogenic qualities of Quinacrine,
further studies are happening now.

Thank you Carifairy; do you know if it is
100% effective? Do you think a young
woman of 23 without children would be able
to have this procedure done? It is
expensive?
Thank you!
