im so scared. on dec 08 i strayed from my girlfriend and had unprotected sex with a female friend. the next morning i had a pain in the back of my neck then went to my armits inner groin some stomach pains. i got muscle pains on arms and legs, had diarreah that went away and i got pain on my cheeks i havent got a fever. im so nervous seems like there is so much to put down. I Went to doctor and gave me antibiotics. Asked for tests waiting for results and am anxious. Now my girlfriend talks about similiar problems. i talked to the girl about if she had any contagious diseases and said shegot tested recently and that it was ok. what is the time line, how do you know if you got this disease. Appreciate you advice. thank you

The symptoms for HIV do not appear over night. It can take months or years but never the next day or the next week.
