What questions did the other doctors ask you? How did they determine how far along you were? Did they ask you when your last period was? Did they do an ultrasound?

It does happen sometimes, although it would have been rare for you to get a test so early. My sister went for her 12 week scan and was 7 weeks and my friend went for her 12 week scan and was 8 weeks

ok in your im pregnant post you posted on the 18th and said last monday (tthe 10th) you took a test and it was positive. if you took the test then it wouldnt have came up pos because by then youd barely be a week preg if you say your only 3-4 weeks now? you wouldnt even be a full week pregnant
the test wouldnt have came up positive

gf, I didn't think of that. You are right. Something's wrong with one of those doctor's calendars.

Also, I don't think an ultrasound can see anything at that stage:

It is possible to detect a pregnancy of 5 ½ weeks gestation on ultrasound

. A tiny sac can be seen, but the baby and their heart beat may not be detected yet. Be aware that while it is possible to see a pregnancy this small, in many cases the pregnancy may not be detected, because the sac is so tiny. You may need to have another ultrasound a week or so later to detect the pregnancy, if you still feel you are pregnant and/or your blood HCG levels are rising.

but if she took an hpt which she said was on the 10th she would only barely be a week pregnant
an hpt WILL NOT show a week pregnant

It could depend on how they're measuring pregnancy. Maybe the fetus is 4 weeks old? It could also be a lie. Smile

But yes, I had a very early positive with my youngest.

I don't know if I actually thought it was a lie, but rather someone misunderstanding something.

How early was your earliest ultrasound, Altari?

My first ultrasound was at 5 or 6 weeks, about a month after my positive stick. The doctors thought I was at 8-9 weeks, and I started bleeding. The regular ultrasound showed nothing so they had to do a vaginal, which revealed how early the pregnancy really was.

Thanks, Altari. I haven't seen anywhere on the web where it says ultrasounds are used at 3 to 4 weeks.

She made a topic talking about her having implantation bleeding 11 / 8 / 2007.
By now she would be about 6 - 8 weeks pregnant.
This topic is a lie and should be closed...
