Sexual Health - Women Forum - HPV and Fertility

Hi I've been diganose with HPV and i want to know does it interfer with getting pregnant i go to the doctor on the regular basis to keep it under control and i'm very healthy and just want to know do i have a chance of having a baby with having this virus

I do not think HPV can affect pregnancy or be transmitted to the baby but you need to ask your DOCTOR that.

what kind of hpv do you have? The warts or the cervical type?

I've had HPV for 4 years, and it didn't have any affect on my getting pregnant. Although i don't have the warts kind...

i had cervical hpv and my dr said it wouldnt effect pregnancy but it can cause cervical cancer. i had to go in every six month instead of once a year to get tested there is no cure for HPV. over time mine has cleared up on its own
