Has anyone here ever used Meridia or know anyone that has? Did you or they have a positive or negative experience on it?

Ralph Nader petitioned the FDA to ban Meridia, AKA sibutramide hydrochloride monohydrate, b/c of reports of sudden death, heart failure, renal failure and gastrointestinal problems. Yikes. Maybe another weight loss method can help.
