Hello,

I clean, floss and use listerine twice a day.

Now, I have numerous dental problems that I'm seeing a dentist about in a week, but there's something I'm curious about.

Just above my gumline (before it reaches mid-tooth) there are these dirty looking stripes that come around (they're small). They emerge from another tooth and continue around (not all the way).

The upper teeth it looks a little different...instead of brown stripes there are very thin black lines (cracks? again, ABOVE the gumline) they don't go all the way around, and I don't understand why they're developing when I take good care of my teeth.

Only about 5 teeth are affected...none of them hurt or ache or throb...they're pretty normal.

Any ideas?
