Q: Question About Cycle Bloating

Is it normal for bloating to come and go throughout your cycle? For example, my cycle is 30 days long. I just had my peirod on the 13th of December, a couple of days after my period I felt kind of bloated. It would go away for a day or two. Then it would come back for a day or two, then it would go away again. I'm almost at my ovulation time so I'm bloated right now, but I was just wondering if this is normal. I feel bloated or I feel at least some kind of pressure in my lower abdomen. Is this normal? Thanks!

As long as this bloating doesn't cause you incredible discomfort or interferes with your daily activities I don't know what you can do about it. Midol and other menstrual medicines do help to decrease bloating, so you could possibly take one a day to keep bloating down.
