It's so sad when addiction means more than your own children. I will never understand it. My neighbors across the street are getting a divorce because her husband is a drunk and she suspects he likes to sniff the magic dust a little too often. It is so sad. He just got arrested for drunk driving last week. I feel so sorry for their kids. They are 3 and 7. They have been married for 16 years. It's just so sad to me.

I hope they never get their child back. The child is a prime age for adoption. Most of those children go in and out of the foster care system to finally be up for adoption at around age seven or older. At that point, it is very difficult to find good homes.

How can people treat an innocent baby in such a way? How awful
