I had a HIDA scan to check my gall bladder yesterday. I will not recieve the results for a few days but I heard that if you experience nausea during the CCK injection that your gall bladder is most likely not functioning properly. Is this true?
It is not accepted widely as a diagnostic correlation, though some doctors do believe that CCK provocation is enough to have gallbladder removed. Apparently people without gallbladder disease can still have these symptoms.
