Smoking
Wether you smoke or not you can still get lung cancer at any time. Smoking greatly increases your chances. I smoked for 9 years and have been quit for 7 months. You can do it too. Luckily I have not developed lung cancer but I still can. My uncle was quit smoking for 3 years before he develpoed lung cancer. The doc told him his smoking had a lot to do with it. Unfortunatly lung cancer is often fatal and he did not make it. I hope this helps and if you want any advice on quitting let me know.

Keep smiling,
jenn

Don't Smoke...
I started when I was 14 or so and smoked for nearly 20 years. Every one of those years I knew I needed to quit. I even did once, for 9 months before starting again.

This last time though, I quit for good. It's been a year and close to 4 months - a new years resolution gone right.

Young or old, quit smoking. It takes a tremendous effort, but you can do it and every day is full of good reasons.

Good luck!

Don't Ever Smoke
I wish I would have never smoked. It made me cough for 6 years and filled my lungs with tar. Fear not, there is hope. I found a vaporizer and can vouch that they work. Of course not smoking is a better option, but try out one of the good ones out there like vapolution or vapor doc. Way less tar = minimal cancerous chemicals entering the body.

If you were at an airport where 1 out of every 8 planes taking off crashed, would you buy a ticket and get on?
1 out of 8 smokers WILL get lung cancer. Lung cancer strikes people who quit smoking even decades ago. Lung cancer is almost undetectable even by x ray in its earliest most curable stages. People who are diagnosed in the later stages only have a 16% chance of cure. The other 83% will perish within 3 to 6 months, chemo extends their lives 6 - 9 months. Incidences of lung cancer in smokers peaks at 55 years of age. Need help quitting? Pretend you were just given three months to live and try searching the internet like hell for a cure. Okay, I'll give you the answer... there isn't one. Not even being wealthy will improve your chances.
But hey, check out this site for the inside scoop about how your buddies in Big Tobacco work their majic for you...http://www.thetruth.com/.
Big Tobacco really doesn't care if you live, as long as you keep paying them to kill you while you are alive and, hey, share a cig with a friend. Make sure he gets hooked and stays that way too! ITS COOL!
Smoking Joe with an apple <<< a good pusher never gets into his own product.
I wonder if the goverment will ever sue Big Tobacco again for all the new cases of dying people taking expensive treatments for lung cancer because of their product, or, did that one time let them off the hook forever? Does it have anything to do with the fact that our government will never make cigarette sales illegal?
If any other product being sold were this deadly, what action do you think would be taken by the FDA?

One out of ten who experiment with alcohol become addicted.
Nine out of ten who experiment with tobacco become addicted.
Only one in ten who try to quit using tobacco each year succeeds!

Second-hand smoke causes more than 53,000 deaths in the United States

More than 3,000 young people begin smoking each day. That's 90,000 each month, and 1,080,000 young people begin smoking each year.

Do us all a favor... quit now... and vote to make tobacco sales illegal. None of should have to say good bye to someone we love so young, so suddenly, and so hopelessly.
