hello everyone I'm 32 years old, engaged in a relationship for 3 years. about a year and a half ago i had an oopherectomy on one of my ovaries (had a benign tumor on it).

ever since then my sex drive as become nearly nothing when before I had a very high sex drive. And although my fiance has been very supportive, loving and caring ... i can tell he is starting to get frustrated with me having absolutely no desire. this has caused quite a few fights within

now i don't want to paint him as a jerk or anything he has always been there for me and i can definately understand his frustration going from me being all over him constantly to lucky if he gets it maybe once every 2-3 weeks is rough.

I just want to know if there is anything i can do for this as im afraid this is going to really hurt our relationship.

Have you had a medical work-up and had your hormones checked? Maybe some hormone supplements would help. I've heard that a little testosterone for women can increase sex drive, since that hormone has a lot to do with that.

It is also possible it is psychological (I don't know, I'm just speculating because I don't know you.) How difficult was the surgery and having one of your ovaries taken out? Maybe you don't feel as sexy now or don't feel like he will find you sexy.

For women, sex drive is a very complex mixture of physical and psychological, so it's not as easy as just throwing a blue pill at it. First step is to make an appointment with your doctor (one that you can really open up with) and tell her (or him) your issues and how badly you want to resolve them.

You are really lucky to have such a supportive man. That will make the process easier as you start to pin-point what's wrong.

I wish you all the best.
