Apparently, I am 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Last week I began to bleed and had very light clotting. I went to ER, they removed some clotting and said my cervix was closed and "not to worry". Went to early pregnancy clinic- they couldnt see anything via ultra sound, so did a transvaginal scan and couldnt see anything. They said I was either currently miscarrying, or that I had a very early pregnancy. How good are these transvaginal scans, anyway?! They took blood to check my hcg levels, and are taking more on Monday...so that is when I will probably know if I am still pregnant...
Is it possible that when my doctor first diagnosed my pregnancy around 2 weeks ago that I could have been carrying twins and lost one?
I am still bleeding and have some slight clotting... but no pain... myu breats arent sore anymore... but I still feel dizzy/light headed and tired... even nauseas at times...
If I have miscarried- how soon is it possible to become pregnant again?

Transvaginal scans are accurate. But it is true they can't tell the difference between a very early pregnancy or a miscarriage. BhcG is the best indicator for miscarriage. It is unlikely that you were carrying twins and one died. Usually this early either they both live or both die.
If you did miscarry then i would wait atleast a good 3 months before ttc again. You want to make sure your lining and the previous products of conception have completely flushed out and give your body a chance to make a fresh new lining for ahealthy pregnancy.
