I have been diagnosed Bipolar I with Panic Disorder since 2000. I am currently on disability. I am currently taking Lamictal, Trileptal, Xanax, and a small amount of Thorazine for those paranoid and confused times during mania. My mania is not a pleasant experience for me as it is for some others. I see my therapist and psych. once a month and I like them both well. Although, since this total hysterectomy, I have switched more to severe depression as I am usually battling the manic phase. I can not take any SSRI's as I shift into mania. I am also currently taking a HRT replacement also. Any of you gals out there have Bipolar and have experienced a hysterectomy that has gotten you "out of whack" or does anyone have any other suggestions. ANYTHING to help. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
