to see what its like
to be a teenage parent
you can barrow my little girl for a night
so i can get some sleep
and you can wake up every hour with her
Very Happy

or

you can take her for a week. and i promise after that most of you will rethink the decitions of the choices your makeing

kids are wonderful and i dont regret her at all. id never go back and change the way things are. i love her to death. but man oh man do i miss actually getting to sleep for more than 2-3 hours at a time. or do i miss being able to eat 3 meals a day without her wakeing up first and haveing to put off eating until she goes back to sleep
or man oh man do i MISS a shower everyday.

you think im kidding? ask these girls on here that ave done it
ask these girls that gave me the same advice im giving you. that i didnt take of course
that i said "no way that wont happen"
or "no way...it wont be like that"

yeah. it will.
your baby WILL cry
your baby WILL wake up comnstantly
you WILL NOT get sleep
you WILL go for days without showering
and you WILL be hungry and tired and frusterated
and your life WILL NEVER be the same.

She's feeling alot better, she's never really slept through though. Before she was ill she'd wake up once but now because she's not eating as much of her solids she's waking up 2-3 times each night.

I hope she sleeps though the night before christmas because Dom's staying over and i'm not really planning on sleeping Laughing

girlfriend, I'm so glad you started this thread. I have forever wanted to know what it was that girls thought motherhood would be like before they had a baby, and then what it was really like after they had a baby. Thanks for telling us like it is. Smile

i don't see why someone so young would want a baby. it IS alot of hard work and it doesn't stop once they get older. it seriously gets harder once they get more active. and once they're in school, teenage years. its a full time job. you'll be looking after them until they leave the house in their adult years, which is scary

but on an up note, it is the most rewarding thing you'll ever do. you will never love someone so much as your own baby

UGH i WISH i could give val to someone for a while...bleh

im stuck with her day in day out because her reflus makes me super paranoid, cause when it gets really bad it looks like shes having a seisure, and she doesnt stop crying, i am so terrified or someone leavingg her and her asperating or someone shaking her bleh

so i cant offer val up for "baby training/practice" no matter how much i wish i could sometimes lol

babies just know how to wind you up, so never lose your temper or they'll play on that. they love to get a reaction out of you. if you're calm, then they'll be calm

that's good to know... i know I'm never gonna end up like my aunt..all her kids are terrible (she has 6 that are under 1Cool she's always yelling and they know just what to do to get her to yell... she's always so angry 'cuz she has so many kids lol..and she doesn't punish them either.. but every time I'm there they hate me lol..they are always in their room or the youngest two are on the couch..

6 under 1? jesus. how does she cope? or doesn't she? the thing is, never get angry. the reason why williams always been so calm up until now is because i'm calm in nature. i never yell, scream or swear. i don't think it's necessary. i also hate people swearing in front of william as i don't want him picking up bad habits and swearing. no punishing? well you can't really punish a child under one anyway, but you can tell them off. you just need to raise your voice slighty, not yelling and your child will realise he/she doesnt like that and wont do it again. but when they're old enough i think the naughty step is a great idea and i'll probably use that idea. have you got any family around to help when the baby is here? when are you due?

it was supposed to be 18..i dunno what happened. yeah, i have my mom, step-dad, two older brothers and older step sister...i'm due end on January.

Yeah she will tell them she'll punish them then when they keep doing it just blows it off.. my cousins are afraid of me 'cuz they know i will punish them.. like one of them (she's 11 i think) hit one of the younger ones and they started to cry (he's 4) and she doesn't realize how much stronger she is than him.. well she knew she'd get in trouble so she ran out side and when I told her to get back in the house she ran off and straight up told me no..so when she came back i yelled at her (not like yell tell but raised my voice just enough so she knew i was mad) then sent her to her room.. i'd normally run after them but in my condition I can't lol

still under 18. thats shocking. at least you have family around to help because the first few weeks will be the worst, but you'll adapt. thats what we have to do. end of january? you've not got long left now. bet you're getting excited. try and rest as much as possible while you can. cherish every moment you have when your parents can help out. its bliss
