Hi, i've just had my first unprotected sex with a prostitute last few days on 19/Dec/07.

It was a one time adventure and curiosity is about to kill the cat (i'm afraid).

I don't know if she is a positive or not.

But I know only a HIV test could provide me an answer to the question I seek.

However, how long do I have to wait and then go for the test after the sex encounter?

I was worried that if i test tomorrow, the result might probably show normal and negative.

and let's say i've waited 2 weeks later and test on HIV, and if the result shows negative, does that mean I'm safe?

even with the test shows negative, will i be safe for the next 5 years and can I proceed to build a family in the future?

I am feeling the guilt on this adventure sex that is causing my night mares as of every night.
