First post! Just wanted to know if anyone had any idea what this could be, not sure if it amounts to be anything serious, although it's a discomfort. In my throat on my right side, theres a gland or an area that feels like its under severe pressure or almost to the point to where it feels like sometimes going to explode haha. I thought it might be a swollen gland or something to that extent, but i can't really feel anything with my bare hands that would tell me so. Not sure if this was the right forum, but thought i'd throw it out there to see if anyone had some insight, any information would be appreciated. 20 year male btw!

Thanks

Its more than likely a swollen lymph node---this would be a sign that your body is fighting off something. they can get pretty sore. you might want to start taking vitamin c and echinecia(forgive my spelling)

Thanks for the response, will try to get a little more of that C, but not exactly sure what echinecia is in.

Thanks

Throat Pressure making it difficult to function
Im a 37 year old female taking Thyroid Meds for the first time. After reading and studying what Low Thyroid is, I can't seem to find anyone with the type of throat pressure I am feeling. It almost feels like someone has a choke hold but putting the most pressure in the font of my lower neck. I don't know if this is something else or linked with thyroid. All doctors tell me it will go away but it hasn't. Anyone out there feeling the same?
