What are you kidding me? A sore throat can be a symptom of anything. Plus you had sex 4 years ago. The onset for HIV is between 3 and 6 months. If you are worried you need to get tested that is the only way to know for sure.

well i have a question... i had a sex with a prostitue and dnt knw weather she is hiv positve or not ... and with in one week i had dry cough.. can it b a symptom of hiv .... and after 90 days i got my hiv test and it sounds negative ... can u tell me is this means iam hiv negative for rest of life

I always suggest getting tested at 90 days and then again at 60 more days just to be sure.
The only way to make sure you are HIV negative for life is to not have sex at all and we all know that isn't realistic so as long as you are going to visit prostitutes you will have to be retested each and every time.And always ALWAYS use a condom.
