Sounds like you are having sinus problems.
Have you visited a doctor already?
Have you noticed that the pain and pressure in the face is much worse when bending forwards?
Do you have a blocked nose with discoloured mucus, which tends to drain down the back of the nose into the throat?

No I haven't visited a doctor yet. There feels to be pressure in the top of my face and around my eyes when I bend forward.

I have had a blocked nose for a long time, but I can't say that I have discoloured mucus.

At this moment in time I am just assuming that it's a sinus problem, but maybe I should make a doctors appointment as this has been going on for about 3 months now.

For example I woke up again with pain behind my eyes and pressure behind my eyes, and a headahce, and if I shake my head from side to side even when I don't have a headache, I can feel pain at the sides of my head.

Maybe it could be an eye problem? I'm just worried that I might have a problem with my brain.

I was having the same problem as you and when I went to see the doc he said my nasal passages were swollen and put me on Nasonex and I feel just like new. I know it is scary but even though I am not a doctor it really just sounds like a sinus issue like I had and it can cause a lot of pressure buildup and can be scary and make it very difficult to breathe at times. Also, I was told that mine was due to allergies like dust and pollen and all the common things that people are allergic to so that may be a lot of your problems also. I understand what you are going through and it can be a scary thing go to the doc but in the long run it is the best thing to do and it will make you feel a lot better. Good Luck

Facial pain and pressure especially in the forehead, temples, cheeks, nose and behind the eyes are symptoms of sinusitis.
Anything that inflames the membranes of the sinus cavity or blocks the sinus passages from draining normally can cause sinusitis (allergies, viral and bacterial infections, and nasal polyps).

Are you experiencing persistent cough especially during the day?
Do you have sore throat and feel fatigue?

I do not suffer a persistant cough durig the day or at night.
I sometimes have a sore throat, but not all the time.
I feel fatigued quite alot during the day.

I'm still getting this pain behind my eyes. When I bend over I do get alot of pressure in my face. Right at the top of my nose feels blocked and I constantly feel tired.

I'm sure you only have sinuses issue and nothing else.
It has been more than three months since you got these symptoms, so your condition of reoccurring or constant symptoms for longer than 12 consecutive weeks, is known as a case of chronic sinusitis.
All signs and symptoms of chronic sinusitis are causing significant fatigue (mainly from lack of good rest)
Headaches, along with nasal obstruction or congestion and difficulty breathing through the nose, are dominant symptoms.
Are you experiencing sore throat and bad breath, too?

If I close my right nostril and breathe down my left nostril, it's hard to breathe. My right nostril can be breathed through fine.

I aren't exactly suffering a constant sore throat, some morning when I wake up I have a sore throat but it's not every single morning.

Yes I have been noticing bad breathe aswell recently.

If it was Sinus problems would it just be pain around the eyes? Because sometimes the back of my head feels as though its throbbing and I can also feel alot of pressure around my eyes/head and I'll get pain in different parts of the head sometimes... Some times I feel sick but I don't think that has anything to do with sinus problems.

Sometimes I also get a burning sensation on top of my head.

Also, in the night when I'm sleeping sometimes I'll awake with a very tickly throat for a few seconds which can be really irritating, could this be a sign of something dripping into the back of my throat?

I seem to be getting headaches in the left part of my head always near the same place.

They don't happen every day but it's strange how they're in the same place.

The pain behind my eyes isn't as bad any more.

I'm beggining to think that this could be an eye problem or possibly a problem with my sleeping pattern.

I can't keep a good sleeping pattern, it's all over the place!

Hi Cined, i think i also have the same problem as you. For the past week ive had constant strains and pressure behind my right eye but have no idea what is causing it. Ever since i caught this cold i have been suffering from this pain. Im guessing it has something to do with sinuses aswell seeing how people are only getting this pain while they have had a cold. For me it only happens at a certain part of the day, which is usually around 10am to around 2 pm and then disappears and my headaches are gone. Ive booked myself in to a docter and i think you should do the same.
Oh and are your eyes sometimes really watery when your trying to sleep or when you wake up?

My left eye some times waters but not when I'm about to go asleep/wake up.

My eye also feels like there's a blockage the back of it, really strange sensation.

I can't understand why when I shake my head I'll get pain around the sides of my head.

Is your headache dull or like feeling of fullness, that starts after you are up and about in the morning, then lasts until late in the afternoon?

When suffering sinusitis, excessive nasal and sinus secretions are produced, and accumulate in the throat or back of the nose (mucus from the back of the nasopharynx drips down the back of the throat)
This is know as post nasal drip, and it is one of main symptoms of sinusitis (causes discomfort or a feeling of a lump in the throat and constant need to clear the throat)
It's most noticeable in mornings.

My headache is a dullache. It stars when I wake up and until I go to bed. I do quite often get the sensation that there is something stuck in my throat and it's quite annoying.

It feels just like one side of my throat.

Also, when I get the blocked feeling in my eyes, the nostril under my eye tends to get runny. Any idea why that could be?

Do you feel pain between your eyes?
Are you experiencing tenderness when the sides of your nose are palpated or touched?

The blocked feeling I get is only in one eye, my left eye. It's the top right of the eye and it feels like I'm not getting full vision, it's a strange sensation. Although, I do notice that my eyelid isn't as open as much as the other one, and it's rather droopy, could this be a symptom of anything?

Underneathe and around my eyes feel tender, around the top of my nose near the bridge feels tender aswell.

I seem to be only getting this ache behind my eyes when I feel tired, it's strange.... Also I think i'm having problems with focusing on small texts.

Maybe this could be an eye related problem? (Eye strain or something similar?) I do spend alot of time on a computer, maybe I need glasses.

Do you get watery, tearing eye with dropping eyelid and runny nose at the same side when you are experiencing headache?
Are you experiencing blurred near vision?
Do you have difficulty focusing from close to far and back again?

im havin the same problem. pain in my eyes,nose,jaw,temples. I also woke up this morning only to cough my hart out(been goin on for the last week,my voice is almost gone)and to find dark yellow mucas,almost brown with tiny picks of red(blood i think)in it. my two little girls are getting better now they also had the flu,but i feel worse and drained of life. any tips anyone, and thanks in advanced.

Do you usually suffer from sinusitis?
For how long you are experiencing these symptoms? Was this preceded with flu or cold?
Sinusitis or any infection involving a runny/stuffy nose resulting in drainage of the secretions into the throat (post-nasal drip) may also affect the vocal cords, resulting in hoarseness. Viruses or bacteria infect the larynx, or voice box, and cause it to swell. That produces irritation and soreness, and changes the voice, making you sound hoarse and unable to speak above a whisper, or even causing you to lose your voice entirely for a few days.

I've been having similar sinus problems. For the past couple of week, I have constant pressure behind my eyes, above my eyes, my forehad, at my temples and in the bridge of my nose. Sometimes it even spreads to the base of my neck and the top of my head. I am not congested and my nose isn't running more than usual. The pressure sometimes pulses and it is very painful. It makes me feel dizzy and disoriented and lightheaded.

I tried a sinus rinse, but it doesn't work. It doesn't even go through my nasal passages actually. I've had problems with my sinuses for about 2 years, after I had a sinus infection that lasted 6 months and had to be treated with 4 different antibiotics.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do? I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks!
