to those who have been through it... what's your best advice to try to keep it off your mind and to try to keep from being stressed out like crazy! Is there something special you do/did?

You should take a pregnancy test since your period is already late. You may find you are worrying needlessly and a pregnancy test will put it all out in the open.

Right now you are worrying in 'what ifs' and what you need to be doing is having something concrete to work with. Putting off taking a test is only going to make you crazier.

TAKE A TEST!!!!

Pregnancy is a stressful time - especially if it is unplanned. Women deal with a lot of depression and anxiety when they are pregnant. The risks of Post Partum Depression and pregnancy depression are high when a pregnancy is unplanned.

If you are pregnant, you should really discuss this with your doctor to find ways of managing the stress/anxiety/etc. You don't want to let it spiral out of control.

Remember to take some time for yourself and reflect on all that has happened, and everything that's going on. You need time to process things. Also, alone time is especially important while pregnant. You won't see it again for another 10 years.
