Hey guys,
My girlfriend became infected with mono maybe 2 months ago. Now since then, I have kissed her many times and yet I still haven't had any symptoms come up. Should I be waiting for the symptoms to appear before I get tested or since it's been almost 2 months should I just assume I'm not going to get it. My concern is that I am an avid weight lifter and I know that if you lift in the early stages of mono you can rupture your spleen. Will the blood test pick up the virus if I haven't presented any symptoms or what? Thanks much guys and hope to hear back from you soon.
