I am only 30 weeks along but have been noticing some water like substance around my nipples. What is this? I know it can't be milk yet

It isn't milk. Your milk won't come in until the baby has been nursing for a few days. It is called colostrum and it is high in nutrients and antibodies for the baby. That will be what the baby 'drinks' until your milk comes in. Leaking is normal. If you are leaking a lot, you might want to get some breast pads.

like ingi said its colostrum and it is normal i was leaking about 28 weeks i think ~alicia~
