Need Some Re-assurance, on pill + condom broke Posted: 12-18-07 16:33pm
Well the other day, my boyfriend and I had
sex, I'm on the pill (Microgen 30 ED) and
he was wearing a condom, unfortuantly the
condom broke, but still held back a lot of
ejaculation. Later that day I went to a
nurse asking advice and what I should,
like if I should take the morning after
pill. She said I would be fine since I'm
on the pill.
I'm going to go to try and see my local
nurse tomorrow, just to be sure. I tend to
panic about stuff like this, but I want to
be sure that I'm not pregnant. I don't
really trust my pills that much either, so
I'm kinda worried.

How long have you been on bc? Have you
been taking it everyday around the same
time?

Yeah I always do, I haven't taken a break
from the pill and been on it for over a
year and a half now.

I think you would be okay as far as being
pregnancy goes. The pillls are 99%
effective if taken everyday around the
same time.
There were times I missed a pill and still
didn't get pregnant.

if you take your pills as directed daily
then your protected from pregnancy ok?

Thanks, still gonna go to the nurse to be
certain, maybe ask for some tests to make
sure I haven't contracted any sort of STDs
or anything, though I'm pretty much sure
both my boyfriend and I are clean.

thats wsoem that you are well educated
about stds as well! lots of people dont
even think about stds and only worry about
pregnancy
